How Do I Estimate my Power Requirements?

A simple way to estimate average power usage is to refer to your latest electric utility bill. Find the total energy used, expressed in killowatt hours (kWh). If the billing cycle is monthly, just divide the total kWh by 730 to get average power in kW. If the billing cycle is not monthly, determine the number of billing days in the cycle (this should also be indicated on the utility bill), and multiply by 24 to get the total hours the billing cycle covers.
